This modest advance extends silver’s recovery from recent lows and demonstrates the white metal’s ability to attract independent buying interest. The silver market resilience is noteworthy given gold’s decline.
In 10 grams, 24-karat silver increased by Rs. 43 to Rs. 6,283. The consistent uptick across both measurements suggests sustained demand for silver at current levels.

The advance was supported by a positive global backdrop. The international silver price per ounce rose by $0.50 to $68.50, continuing its steady recovery. This global silver strength provided a supportive environment for local prices.
Since the July lows near Rs. 6,000, silver has now gained approximately Rs. 1,300 per tola, representing a recovery of over 20%. The white metal’s divergence from gold today suggests that different factors may be influencing each metal’s price action.
Earlier to this, silver prices in Karachi increased by Rs. 210 per tola to Rs. 7,379 for 24-karat silver on Friday, according to rates certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
