A city court in Karachi approved the bail for Armaghan, the main suspect on Mustafa Amir murder case, on Monday in the Prevention of Electronic Crimes (PECA) and illegal call center case.
The case related to allegations of running an illegal call center and violations of the PECA Act, which were registered following an investigation by authorities.
During the hearing, prosecutors informed the court that a separate matter against the accused remains pending before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Authorities (NCCIA).

The defense counsel, Khurram Abbas Awan, argued that the prosecution failed to submit the challan within the prescribed legal time, weakening the case substantially overall.
He further told the court that the investigation officer was absent during proceedings and no prosecution witnesses were present to support the allegations formally.
The defense also maintained that there is no written complaint on record against Armaghan, questioning the credibility and legal basis of the charges filed earlier.
