This drop in global prices contributed to the correction in local gold rates across Pakistan.
The sudden decline comes after yesterday’s record-breaking jump of Rs. 13,300 per tola in Karachi, which had pushed gold rates to Rs. 563,862.
Market analysts attribute today’s correction to profit-taking by traders and a stabilization in global gold prices.
Despite the drop, gold remains at historically high levels, and the market continues to be influenced by global economic uncertainties, currency fluctuations, and investor sentiment.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
