Several travelers reported being left with no alternative but to purchase expensive tickets due to the lack of available seats on other modes of transport.

Pakistan Railways has also failed to provide relief to passengers. Trains operating on the Karachi – Lahore route are running at near full capacity, with tickets either sold out or extremely limited.

The shortage of railway tickets has forced many travelers to turn to air travel despite the inflated prices.
