The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new feature in its Pak-ID mobile app, enabling applicants to track their applications from the comfort of their home.
The move makes the process easier, faster, and more transparent for millions of citizens and overseas Pakistanis.
According to NADRA officials, users can check real-time Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and document application updates with only a few taps.
The feature supports services such as CNICs, B-Forms, Family Registration Certificates (FRC), and other official documents.
The spokesperson confirmed that nearly all NADRA services are now accessible through the Pak-ID app. As a result, repeated visits to NADRA offices are no longer necessary. However, first-time ID applicants will still need to visit an office once for biometric verification.
NADRA emphasized that the feature benefits not only citizens in Pakistan but also overseas Pakistanis. Authorities said the update will save time, reduce costs, and strengthen transparency across the application process.
