Scholars issue fatwa, declares aerial firing, kite flying, one-wheeling un-islamic

Islamic scholars in Pakistan have declared aerial firing, kite flying, and one-wheeling as un-Islamic, stating that every act that endangers life is un-Islamic.

The scholars have issued a fatwa regarding aerial firing, kite flying, and one-wheeling, declaring it un-Islamic, and asserting that every act that endangers life is un-Islamic as Islam gives top priority to the safety of living beings.

The fatwa said that aerial firing, kite flying, and one-wheeling are life-threatening and strictly prohibited, these acts are equivalent to suicide.

On the other hand, DIG Operations Faisal Kamran said that kite flying and aerial firing have claimed many lives, while 151 people involved in one-wheeling were arrested in last 20 days.

DIG Operations stated that 150 cases have been registered for kite flying, while 118 accused of aerial firing have been sent to jail.
