Two Kenyan women imprisoned in Karachi for four months rescued

Karachi’s Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) police recently conducted a successful operation in Scheme 33’s housing society where they apprehended five suspects and rescued two Kenyan women. The women had been held captive for four months after being lured to Karachi under the guise of employment, only to be kidnapped and imprisoned by a group.

According to AVCC SSP Abdul Rahim Shirazi, the Kenyan embassy alerted authorities about the abduction, leading to a joint operation by AVCC police and the CPLC resulting in the successful rescue of the women. Two individuals were also arrested during the operation, while three more suspects were apprehended based on their identification. However, the main accused is still at large, and police are continuing their efforts to apprehend them.
