A tragic incident occurred in Azad Kashmir when a newlywed couple from Karachi lost their lives due to suffocation in a guesthouse room in Athmuqam Tehsil.
The deceased, identified as Taha and Dua Zahra, had tied the knot on February 4, and the couple had traveled to Azad Kashmir on February 11 for their honeymoon.
According to their family, Taha last communicated with them at 9 pm on February 14.
The couple had checked out of the guesthouse on Saturday morning, planning to head to Neelum Valley.
Taha, a mechanical engineer, and Dua Zahra, a BBA student, were found dead in their room, with authorities reporting suffocation as the cause of death.
The bodies of the deceased will be transferred to Karachi today for final rituals.
