Mohsin Naqvi, the caretaker chief minister of Punjab, requested a plan while approving the development of a cancer hospital in Lahore.
The proposed site and structure for the Cancer Hospital were inspected by Mohsin Naqvi during the visit to Manawan Hospital.
A meeting was held at Manawan Hospital under the chairmanship of the caretaker chief minister. He assigned the administration the task of converting Manawan Hospital into a cancer hospital on this occasion.
Speaking to the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized on the lack of any contemporary government cancer hospitals in the province of 14 crore population.
He directed that the design of the cancer hospital and other matters should be decided soon and said that a plan should be made for purchase of machinery and equipment.
