Sindh police announces appointments and transfers of 31 senior superintendents of police

In a significant administrative move, the Inspector General of Police, Sindh, has issued orders for the appointments and transfers of 31 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) within the province. These appointments and transfers come after similar changes in leadership at the Additional Inspector General (IG) and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) levels.

The official notification of these appointments and transfers has confirmed the list, which had been the subject of rumors for several weeks.

Among the notable appointments, Tariq Elahi Mastoi has been posted as the new SSP of Malir, while Hasan Sardar Ahmed Khan will take over as SSP Korangi. Amjad Ahmed Sheikh is appointed as the SSP of Hyderabad, and Abreez Ali Abbasi will assume the role of SSP in Tando Allahyar.

In Karachi, Imran Qureshi is appointed as SSP of Karachi South, Amjad Hayat as SSP of Karachi City, and Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao as SSP of Kemari Karachi. The city’s other areas will also see new SSPs: Mahzoor Ali (Karachi West), Faisal Abdullah Chachar (Karachi Central), Irfan Ali Bahadur (Karachi East), and Saleem Khan (Tando Muhammad Khan).

In the rest of Sindh, the new appointments include Noorul Haq Rand as SSP of Matiari, Muhammad Tariq Nawaz Jam Shuro as SSP of Shikarpur, and Shabbir Ahmed Sithar as SSP of Dadu district.

Other appointments include Muhammad Ali Bakhsh alias Aftab Nizamani (Thatta), Shehla Raza (Sajawal), Qamar Raza Jaskani (Badin), Haider Raza (Shaheed Benazirabad), Captain Saddam Hussain (Sangarh), Abid Ali Baloch (Nowshahro Feroze), and Adil Memon (Mirpur Khas).

Furthermore, Muhammad Ali will be the SSP of Mardan, Abdul Khaliq will take over in Umarkot, Irfan Ali Samu in Sukkur, and Samiullah Soomro in Khairpur. Munir Ahmad Khoro will be responsible for Ghotki, and Muhammad Asif Raza will serve as SSP of Shahdadkot district.

Rohail Khan, Khadim Mustafa Korai (Shikarpur), Syed Amir Abbas Shah (Jacobabad), and Abdul Rahim Shirazi will assume their roles as SSPs of Larkana district. These appointments and transfers aim to strengthen the leadership within the Sindh Police and enhance law enforcement efforts across the province.
