In preparation for the upcoming Eid ul Adha festivities, Pakistan Railways has announced the launch of two special trains from Karachi to accommodate holiday travellers. These trains will provide additional travel options for passengers heading to Lahore and Peshawar, helping to ease the holiday travel rush.
The exact scheduling of these Eid special trains will be finalized upon the sighting of the Zilhajj moon, allowing travellers to plan their journeys conveniently. This initiative aims to ensure a stress-free travel experience for passengers during the festive season.
The first special train will operate from Karachi to Lahore, offering both economy-class and air-conditioned (AC) coaches. This variety of coach options is designed to cater to passengers with different travel preferences and budgets, ensuring comfort for all. Economy-class coaches will provide an affordable yet comfortable travel option, while AC coaches will offer a more luxurious experience with enhanced amenities.
The second special train will travel from Karachi to Peshawar, featuring exclusively economy-class coaches.
