Pakistan are playing against New Zealand in first semi-final match of the T20 World Cup at Sydney Cricket Ground with both teams seeking to qualify for the finale.
After Pakistan have made their way to the T20 International World Cup 2022, England and India are now eyeing the last spot in the finale and will play the second semi-final match in Adelaide on Thursday.
As cricket rivalries go, fans and supporters from all over the world are hoping for a Pakistan vs India finale, English captain Joss Buttler has other ideas.
“Look, we certainly don’t want to see an India and Pakistan final. So we will try and do everything we can to make sure that doesn’t happen,” said Buttler in a press conference.
True Pakistani supporters are also hopeful that Buttler will resin true to his word since historically been in India’s favour.
