In a commendable initiative, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, inaugurated five rehabilitated parks in Shahr Quaid in a single day. The parks, located in different areas of Karachi, had long been in a state of disrepair.
The rehabilitated parks include Nazimabad Model Park, situated opposite Al Khidmat Hospital, Zeeshan Hyder Park in Nazimabad No. 1, Shalamar Park in Nazimabad Goal Market, Family Park in Block N, and Khushboo Ladies Park in Block A North Nazimabad.
Residents of the areas expressed their appreciation for the efforts and excellent performance of the elected local representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, while addressing the media during the inauguration at Model Park Nazimabad, stated that the occasion marked a joyous moment for the people of Nazimabad. The Model Park, inaugurated 20 years ago by former City Nazim Nimatullah Khan, continues the mission of public service initiated by Khan.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman emphasized the commitment of Jamaat-e-Islami to allocate budgets in selected towns for the benefit of the people. He highlighted the additional facilities planned for Nazimabad Model Park, including a library for children and a workplace for those lacking adequate spaces to work.
Addressing the challenges faced by Karachi, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman pointed out the collaborative role of both PPP and MQM in damaging the city. He asserted that Jamaat-e-Islami remains dedicated to securing the rights of Karachi’s citizens. Criticizing the political dynamics, he questioned the efficacy of MK’s proposed constitutional amendment, emphasizing that Jamaat-e-Islami will actively participate in upcoming general and municipal elections to represent the people of Karachi. The residents were encouraged to contribute to the success of Jamaat-e-Islami by voting in large numbers during the elections.
