The winter season has begun in the upper portions of the nation, and temperatures are beginning to fall in the middle and southern regions as well.
Meanwhile, as winter approaches the provincial capital, Karachi experienced the coldest dawn of the season earlier today, according to Pak Weather, the country’s largest automated weather station network.
The minimum temperature in Karachi has plummeted to 18-19°C, according to reports, with Saima Arabian Villas (SAV) Chowrangi registering the lowest temperature at 18.7°C.
This morning’s temperature in Gulshan-e-Roomi was 18.9°C, Malir Cantt was 19°C, Gulistan-e-Jauhar was 19.3°C, and Jinnah International Airport was 20°C.
The rest of the city is still rather warm, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 26°C. On the other side, the temperature in Karachi is forecast to remain between 37°C and 39°C during the day.
Weather experts predicted earlier last month that Sindh, particularly Karachi, will have an early winter this year.
They anticipated that winter will begin in Sindh in November, and that the region would experience extreme cold throughout the approaching winter season.
