ICC releases latest player rankings across formats

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the updated rankings for One-Day Internationals (ODIs), Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), and Test matches, reflecting the recent performances of players across the globe.

In the ODI rankings, Pakistan’s batting sensation Babar Azam maintains his stronghold at the top position, with India’s Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli closely following at second and third place respectively. Meanwhile, South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj leads the ODI bowlers’ rankings, with Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi securing the top spot among all-rounders.

Shifting to the T20 format, India’s Suryakumar Yadav claims the top spot, showcasing his prowess with the bat. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam follow closely at second and third place respectively. England’s Adil Rashid retains his dominance as the top-ranked T20I bowler.

In the Test arena, New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson continues to reign supreme at the pinnacle of the rankings, with England’s Joe Root climbing to the second position. Australia’s Steve Smith secures the third spot, showcasing his batting prowess. Notably, Babar Azam represents Pakistan in the Test rankings, securing the fifth position, while India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal breaks into the top ten after a commendable performance. Furthermore, India’s Rohit Sharma climbs to the 11th position, marking his ascent in the rankings.

Among Test bowlers, India’s Jasprit Bumrah maintains his stronghold at the top, while Australia’s Josh Hazlewood ascends to the fourth position, further enhancing the competition among the top-ranked bowlers.

These rankings reflect the stellar performances and consistent efforts of players worldwide, showcasing the dynamic nature of international cricket and the competitive spirit among the cricketing fraternity.
