Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has decided to contact the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) again regarding the allegations against him, according to sources.
Media reports said Rizwan will write to the NCCIA this week to seek details about the nature of the allegations against him, including the dates and circumstances involved.

He will also raise questions about claims of non-cooperation and seek clarification from the agency on the matter, sources added.
According to sources close to Rizwan, the cricketer is ready to fully cooperate with the inquiry but wants written details of the allegations against him.
The sources said Rizwan has not received any fresh notice from the NCCIA since his initial appearance before the agency.
Rizwan and fellow Pakistan batter Imam-ul-Haq appeared before the NCCIA in Lahore earlier this month after their mobile phones were seized following Pakistan’s Test series against England.
The inquiry relates to allegations concerning online betting and gambling in Pakistan cricket. Reports have also linked the investigation to alleged leaks of information from the Pakistan dressing room during the Test series.
The two players were among seven cricketers released from Pakistan’s Test squad following the team’s defeat to England at Lord’s. No final finding against either Rizwan or Imam has been officially announced.
Earlier, NCCIA reports had claimed that the inquiry was being delayed due to Rizwan’s alleged non-cooperation.
Investigators reportedly contacted him several times and sought his cooperation, while reports said he was sometimes unavailable or indicated that he would consult his lawyer before responding.
The agency had also planned to contact Rizwan again to seek his cooperation, with reports saying further action could be considered if he failed to cooperate.
The NCCIA reportedly wants to conduct a forensic examination of Rizwan’s mobile phone in his presence. Reports said his availability was therefore necessary for the process.
However, sources close to Rizwan said he had already cooperated during his first appearance. They said he gave the NCCIA access to his mobile phone and provided the password to his iPhone.
The sources also said Rizwan had sent questions to the agency seeking clarification about the allegations and the reason for being called in.
They said he had not received a response to those questions.
Rizwan had also asked whether someone could accompany him during the proceedings, according to the reports.
Reports further added Rizwan will appear before the NCCIA once he receives a notice in accordance with the law.
Meanwhile, Imam-ul-Haq has reportedly cooperated with investigators after initial hesitation, with the forensic examination of his mobile phone under way.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been constituted to investigate the matter involving Rizwan and Imam.
The NCCIA has maintained that the inquiry is at an initial stage and that nothing has so far been established against either cricketer.
According to reports, the purpose of the investigation is to establish the facts and determine whether any violation has occurred.
The agency has also reportedly offered to send its investigation team to Rizwan if he is unable to visit its office.
Further details are expected to emerge once the forensic examination and other aspects of the inquiry are completed.
