The powerful rally in global silver rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with Karachi silver prices climbing sharply across all categories throughout the session.

Wednesday’s gain of Rs. 273 per tola is the largest single positive session recorded for Pakistan’s silver market in several weeks, and has effectively reversed the bulk of the losses accumulated during the long and painful correction of mid to late July in a single day.

Karachi Silver Prices Deliver the Biggest Single-Day Gain in Weeks

Wednesday’s powerful advance builds on two previous days of modest gains. Tuesday had seen Karachi silver prices rise by Rs. 60 per tola to Rs. 6,351, and Monday had added Rs. 54 per tola to Rs. 6,291, two contained but back-to-back positive sessions that had provided an early signal of improving sentiment.

Wednesday’s Rs. 273 per tola surge has now dramatically accelerated that recovery, pushing Karachi silver prices to levels not seen since the early stages of the mid-July correction.

The cumulative three-session recovery of Rs. 387 per tola over Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday now represents one of the most significant short-term rebounds Pakistan’s silver market has delivered in recent memory, and has transformed the near-term picture from one of deep uncertainty to one of genuine momentum and renewed confidence.

Karachi Silver Prices Surge Past Rs. 6,600 and Eye Rs. 7,000

At Rs. 6,624 per tola, Karachi silver prices have now pushed well above the Rs. 6,600 mark, a level not seen since before the devastating mid-July correction had pushed prices toward Rs. 6,000.

International silver at $61.45 per ounce has also reclaimed the $61 level and is approaching territory not visited since the early part of July, reflecting a dramatically improved global picture for the metal.

With Karachi silver prices now sitting significantly above the multi-month lows of just two weeks ago, the Rs. 7,000 mark, which had seemed a distant prospect during the worst of July’s correction, is back in view as a realistic target if Wednesday’s momentum can be sustained.

Market Outlook Turns Decisively More Optimistic

Pakistan silver prices continue to be influenced by global industrial demand, particularly from sectors such as electronics and renewable energy, alongside broader shifts in investor sentiment.

Wednesday’s extraordinary surge, coming after two consecutive sessions of positive movement, represents the most convincing recovery signal Pakistan’s silver market has produced since the mid-July correction began.

Traders and investors will be watching very closely whether Karachi silver prices can sustain Wednesday’s powerful momentum in the sessions ahead and push back toward and above the Rs. 7,000 level, or whether the familiar pattern of sharp gains being quickly reversed reasserts itself as August progresses.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
