Silver prices in Pakistan staged a strong recovery on Thursday, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs369 per tola and moving back above the Rs7,000 mark after suffering a sharp decline in the previous session.

According to rates certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver increased to Rs7,169 per tola, compared with Rs6,800 recorded on Wednesday.

The latest increase reversed Wednesday’s Rs186 decline and marked one of the strongest single-day gains in recent weeks.

The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams increased by Rs317 to Rs6,146. The broad-based rise reflected renewed buying interest in the domestic bullion market following the sharp correction recorded a day earlier.

The recovery was supported by a strong rally in international silver rate.

The global price of silver increased by $3.69 per ounce to $66.90, marking one of the largest single-day gains in recent months.

Silver Rate in Pakistan – Latest Updates

The sharp increase in international silver prices provided a strong bullish signal for local bullion traders and helped push domestic silver prices back above Rs7,000 per tola.

Following Thursday’s recovery, silver is approaching the Rs7,200 per tola level seen around its July highs.

The latest movement also highlights the comparatively high volatility of silver, which has experienced sharp declines as well as equally strong rebounds in recent sessions.

The rates are based on 999 purity (24-karat silver) and interbank exchange rates, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
