Karachi silver prices today recorded a positive session, with the metal advancing steadily across all categories as global precious metals markets moved higher even as gold slipped marginally, with silver showing a notable divergence from gold and posting one of its more convincing single-session gains seen in the past several days.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs. 60, settling at Rs. 6,351.

The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams also climbed by Rs. 51, settling at Rs. 5,444.

International silver prices also moved higher, rising by $0.60 to settle at $58.72 per ounce, building on Monday’s recovery and pushing global rates toward the upper end of the range seen over the past several sessions.
The uptick in global silver rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with Karachi slver prices climbing steadily across all categories throughout the session.
The positive divergence from gold, with silver gaining while gold dipped marginally, is an encouraging sign and suggests the metal may be building independent momentum at current levels.
Karachi Silver Prices Build on Monday’s Recovery
Tuesday’s gain of Rs. 60 per tola follows Monday’s advance of Rs. 54 per tola, which had partially reversed Saturday’s decline of Rs. 57 per tola.

Together, Monday and Tuesday have now added Rs. 114 per tola back to Karachi silver prices over two consecutive sessions, the most sustained back-to-back positive performance the metal has delivered since the brief recovery of late July.
Two straight sessions of gains, while modest in individual scale, are a meaningful development given the persistent pattern of one-day recoveries being immediately reversed that had frustrated the market throughout the second half of July and into the opening days of August.
Whether this two-session recovery can be extended further will be the key question for Karachi silver prices in the sessions ahead.
Karachi Silver Prices Push Above Rs. 6,300
At Rs. 6,300 per tola, Karachi silver prices have now pushed above the Rs. 6,300 level, their highest level in over a week, and are approaching the Rs. 6,400 mark for the first time since the post-mid-July recovery had briefly reached those levels before being reversed.

International silver at $58.72 per ounce is also at its highest level in several days, reflecting an improved global picture for the metal.
