Gold rates in Karachi for 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 3,500, closing at Rs. 460,436 per tola.
Despite Thursday’s dip, gold remains up nearly Rs. 39,400 from the multi-month lows below Rs. 421,000 seen in mid-July.
Today’s gold rates in Karachi are still holding well above those lows even after the pause in the rally.
In grams, 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 3,001 to Rs. 394,749, while 22-karat gold dropped by Rs. 2,751 to Rs. 361,866.
The pullback across all three variants points to some profit-taking after the recent run-up.

- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 394,749 (-3,001)

The retreat tracked weaker global markets, where the international gold price per ounce fell by $35 to $4,380, pulling back after its recent climb and weighing on gold rates in Karachi.
Wednesday’s Session in Review
A day earlier, the Karachi bullion market had closed sharply higher, with gold prices posting strong gains as the recovery from recent lows gathered pace.

Gold rates in Karachi for 24-karat gold had jumped by Rs. 4,200 on Wednesday, closing at Rs. 463,936 per tola.
That marked the fifth straight session of gains, with gold having climbed well over Rs. 42,900 from the multi-month lows below Rs. 421,000 recorded in mid-July.
In grams, 24-karat gold had increased by Rs. 3,601 to Rs. 397,750, while 22-karat gold had risen by Rs. 3,301 to Rs. 364,617 on Wednesday.
Rs. 460,000 Level Holds
Thursday’s pullback saw gold rates in Karachi ease back but hold above the psychological Rs. 460,000 mark, a level that could act as near-term support if the correction continues.
Since the historic peak above Rs. 563,000 in early March, gold remains well below those highs, and Thursday’s dip suggests the market may be pausing to digest recent gains.
Market Outlook
After several consecutive sessions of gains, Thursday’s dip looks like a natural pause rather than a reversal. Traders will be watching to see whether gold rates in Karachi hold above Rs. 460,000 or extend the pullback further, with international price direction likely to set the tone in the sessions ahead.
