Shaheen featured in Heat’s match against Adelaide Strikers on Saturday, December 27, where he managed to bowl only three overs before leaving the field.

He appeared uncomfortable during the 14th over of the Strikers’ run chase and was seen limping off while pointing to his right knee.

“Due to an unexpected injury, I have been called back by the PCB and will have to take a rehab. Hopefully, I will be back in the fields soon, 🏏” Shaheen wrote on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
