There is encouraging news for Pakistani students planning to pursue higher education in Europe, as Hungary has announced the largest scholarship allocation for Pakistan under the upgraded Hungary scholarship quota.

According to official details, Pakistan and Hungary have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening educational cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar represented Pakistan at the signing ceremony, while Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó signed the document on behalf of his government.

Under the new arrangement, Hungary has significantly increased its annual Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship quota for Pakistani students. The number of scholarships has been raised from 80 to an impressive 400 seats.

Officials noted that this is the largest scholarship allocation Hungary has ever offered to Pakistan, demonstrating a major boost in bilateral educational partnership between both countries.

The increased scholarships will cover a wide range of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, enabling more Pakistani youth to benefit from globally recognized European education.
