Karachi Police have initiated a thorough evaluation of the security plan for the upcoming PIMEC 2025, ensuring the safety and smooth conduct of the event.
Javed Alam Odho, Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, presided over a meeting at the Karachi Police Office to review security arrangements for PIMEC 2025, set to take place from November 3-6 at Expo Center.

According to a police spokesperson, several senior officers, including DIG Administration, DIGP Special Branch, DIGP Traffic, Commandant SSU, DIGPs West, South, and East, as well as district SSPs with SSP Security Technical expertise, as well as SSP FSC, were present at this session.
Odho gave clear instructions to each unit regarding roles and responsibilities for ensuring security for an international event, stressing coordinated planning for security deployment, traffic management, and cooperation among law enforcement agencies.
He emphasized that all measures must be fully integrated so participants and visitors experience a safe and peaceful environment throughout the event.
More than 25 countries and over 140 delegates are expected to participate in PIMEC 2025, the upcoming Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference 2025 (PIMEC 2025), to be held from November 3 to 6, 2025, at the Karachi Expo Centre.
The grand event, co-organized by the Pakistan Navy and Badar Expo Solutions, under the patronage of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, is designed to spotlight Pakistan’s growing role in the global maritime industry and its emerging Blue Economy.
PIMEC 2025 will serve as a key platform for strategic collaboration, maritime innovation, and investment promotion, bringing together global maritime leaders, government representatives, and private sector stakeholders.
