In a move to enhance the digital experience for visitors and streamline the Hajj and Umrah process, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has enabled access to the Nusuk app without the need for mobile data.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, this initiative has been launched in collaboration with major telecom operators in the Kingdom – STC, Zain, and Mobily.
Citizens, residents, and visitors using Saudi SIM cards can now access all Nusuk app services without an active internet connection or data plan.
This includes essential features like booking permits for the Holy Shrine in Madinah, purchasing Haramain High Speed Train tickets, navigating with Nusuk Maps, using the built-in AI assistant, and submitting inquiries or reports.

Nusuk CEO Eng. Ahmed Al-Meman called the development a significant step in enhancing pilgrim services. “It allows immediate access to essential information, improves crowd control, and helps locate lost pilgrims efficiently,” he said.
The app, available in over 100 countries and 10 languages, is now integrated with 25 government entities.
It provides services such as Tasbeeh, Husnul Muslim, prayers and adhan schedules, Haramain recitations, awareness cards, historic site guides, and maps of significant religious locations.
The ministry believes this initiative will boost the ease, safety, and organization of pilgrimages, ensuring a smoother and more spiritual experience for millions of Muslims visiting the Kingdom each year.
