The Sindh free solar system scheme is a major initiative to help poor households using less than 100 units of electricity monthly across Sindh province.
It supports families affected by high electricity prices while promoting clean, sustainable energy through free solar home systems provided to eligible consumers.
A total of 120,000 protected consumers from areas like Karachi, Kohistan, and Sindh’s desert regions will benefit from this home-based solar installation project.
Eligibility Criteria
Only applicants whose electricity usage has stayed under 100 units for the last six months are eligible to apply for the solar system.
People who have already received a solar system under any government scheme are not eligible for this project, even if they meet the unit criteria.
