Pakistani rupee (PKR) strengthens by Rs0.6 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs282.66, strengthening from last Friday’s closing of Rs282.72.
Since July 22, 2025, the Pakistani rupee has gained Rs2.31, rising from PKR 284.97, fueling optimism about ongoing currency stability.
Currency experts credit the surge to government-led crackdowns and the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) strong measures against illegal currency trading, calling it a positive sign of market correction.

However, on 31 July, Pakistani rupee (PKR) strengthens by Rs0.08 against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs282.87 against the previous day’s closing of Rs282.95.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs285.1 and Rs285.6 respectively on Thursday.
