Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has responded to the Indian government’s action of submitting his statement to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) as evidence against Pakistan.
He said that India misrepresented his words and presented them out of context. According to him, India is deeply involved in terrorism within Pakistan and across the region.
Gandapur stated that he plans to expose India’s actions at FATF. He added that he had served as Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and is now writing to FATF. He also intends to appear in person to explain what India has done in these regions.
He further claimed that India has played a direct role in promoting terrorism, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He expressed his commitment to bringing this role to global attention and ensuring the truth reaches international platforms.
Gandapur also announced that he would push for India’s inclusion in the FATF grey list, citing its support for terrorist activities.
He emphasized that Indian authorities are trying to shift the blame onto Pakistan while ignoring their own actions.

He stated that the people of Pakistan, along with its security forces, have made immense sacrifices to eliminate terrorism. He sent a clear message to Prime Minister Modi, declaring that Pakistan is united in its defense and will not tolerate baseless allegations.
On Thursday, the Indian government submitted Gandapur’s past statement to FATF, claiming it as evidence against Pakistan. FATF officials confirmed the statement was received.
The statement in question involved Gandapur’s remarks that the government arrests Taliban members, but some institutions later release them. India used this to support its narrative and requested Pakistan’s re-entry into the grey list.
It is important to note that Pakistan was removed from the FATF grey list in October 2022, after being under monitoring since 2018.
