The Sultanate of Oman has introduced a long-term residency program aimed at attracting foreign investors. The new initiative allows foreigners to secure residency by meeting specific conditions, including investment and residency history.

According to reports, applicants must have lived in Oman for at least 10 years and invest a minimum of 500,000 Omani Rials (around 1.3 million US dollars).

The investment must be in real estate, business, or sectors approved by the government.

Applicants must also be over 21 years old, present a police clearance certificate, and comply with Omani laws. Those who meet the criteria will be granted a residence visa valid for 5 to 10 years, with the option to renew. The visa also covers immediate family members.

Successful applicants will enjoy increased business opportunities and a chance to settle in the country long-term.

Interested individuals can apply through the Royal Oman Police or relevant authorities by submitting investment proof and required documents. Applications are reviewed before final approval. For more information, visit Oman’s official government websites or contact the nearest Omani embassy
