The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up matches ahead of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, with a total of nine matches to be played across Bengaluru and Colombo from September 25 to 28.
All eight qualified teams will participate in these warm-ups, with each team playing two matches except Australia who will feature in just one fixture.
The action kicks off on September 25 with India vs England and South Africa vs New Zealand in Bengaluru, along with Sri Lanka vs Pakistan and Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka ‘A’ in Colombo.
On September 27, Australia will face England in their sole warm-up match, while India takes on New Zealand and Sri Lanka plays Bangladesh.
The warm-ups conclude on September 28 with South Africa vs India ‘A’ and Pakistan vs Sri Lanka ‘A’.
All matches will start at 3 PM local time, serving as preparation for the main tournament running from September 30 to November 2 across various venues.
