Peshawar pacer Ihsanullah bowled a fierce bouncer, striking Tayyab Tahir on the helmet during a National T20 Cup match at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
Batting first, Lahore Whites got off to a strong start with a 54-run opening partnership. The stand ended when Ihsanullah dismissed Mohammad Saleem (25).
Soon after, Tayyab Tahir joined Mohammad Faiq at the crease but was struck on the helmet by a short-pitched delivery. The batter missed the ball completely, and it hit the left side of his helmet, forcing him to go down immediately.

Peshawar fielders and the physio rushed to check on Tayyab, who received medical attention before continuing his innings.

Despite the setback, Tayyab Tahir fought back, smashing 66 off 46 balls with seven fours and a six, helping Lahore Whites post 181/3 in 20 overs.
For Peshawar, Ihsanullah, Mohammad Imran, and Niaz Khan took one wicket each in the third game of the tournament.
