The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will observe Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on 3 May, with a special focus on support and solidarity.
CEO PSL Salman Naseer stated that this initiative is part of PSL’s corporate social responsibility. “We aim to raise awareness on health issues affecting lives across the country,” he stated.
He thanked players, officials, commentators, fans, and media for their continuous backing. “Their support in promoting health campaigns adds value to the PSL brand,” Naseer added.
The match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United will carry the awareness message. Players will wear golden caps and ribbons – the color symbolizing Childhood Cancer Awareness.
Match officials and commentators will also wear gold ribbons, while stumps will be branded in gold to visually communicate the cause during the game.
The three young cancer patients will also be invited to the stadium to receive signed shirts from both teams as a token of love and encouragement.
Digital screens across the venue will display awareness messages highlighting the importance of early detection and care for childhood cancer.
