The authorities in Saudi Arabia revised the fees for Iqama renewal, extending the reentry and exit visa including other services for the year 2025, as reported by the local media.
The Ministry of Interior’s Absher Business platform has announced updated fees for seven services offered to establishments.
Among the changes, the fee for extending an exit and reentry visa has been set at Saudi Riyal (SR) 103.5, while the renewal of a residency permit (Iqama) now costs SR51.75.
Other updated charges include SR70 for a final exit visa, SR51.75 for issuing a new Iqama, SR28.75 for obtaining an employee report, and SR69 for amending expatriate passport information.
Absher Business clarified via its official ‘X’ account that these fees are for value-added services related to processing through the platform and are separate from the employer’s annual package purchase.
Recently, Absher has introduced several new services, including a tool that allows sponsors to report absconding individuals who entered Saudi Arabia on guest visas.
Foreign workers, including those from Pakistan, are advised to renew their Iqama promptly before its expiration to avoid complications.
Saudi authorities require that the Iqama be renewed within three days of expiration to prevent legal issues. The Iqama, which is a residence permit, is essential for foreign nationals to live and work legally in Saudi Arabia.
