A series of tragic traffic accidents in Karachi over the last 48 hours has resulted in the deaths of nine people and left seven others injured.
As reported by the private news channel, the first fatality occurred when a 22-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Hasnain, was struck by a vehicle near the Karsaz area, which led to his death at the scene.
In another incident, a 10-year-old boy named Afzal lost his life and two others, Khan Kamal and Rehmatullah, were injured in a crash near a private housing society on the Superhighway.
The injured were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A female passerby tragically died when she was hit by a vehicle near the Korangi No 2 bridge. Her body was later taken to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities.
In the Ghaghar Phatak area, a collision involving a high-speed dumper truck claimed one life and left three people seriously injured. The injured victims were rushed to a local hospital for medical care.
Two people also died in a collision involving a truck on Jamali Bridge.
In a separate accident at Korangi Nasir Jump, a child fell from a woman’s lap and died after a motorcycle collided with a trawler.
Additionally, two motorcyclists lost their lives in a car collision on Native Jetty Bridge.
Authorities also reported a road accident in Gulshan-e-Iqbal near Fazal Mills, where a pothole has caused slow traffic flow.
Traffic police are on the scene, managing the situation to prevent further accidents.
