Islamabad police have intensified security measures and sought reinforcements from Punjab and Sindh ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally on November 24.
According to reports, two DIGs and ten DPOs from the Punjab police will join the security operations in Islamabad. Additionally, 4,000 Rangers officers and 5,000 FC personnel will assist, equipped with anti-riot kits.
To address the anticipated complexities in the federal capital, 10 DPOs from Punjab, each accompanied by 500 personnel, have been deployed.
Furthermore, 2,000 additional personnel from the Sindh and Punjab have been called to ensure comprehensive security arrangements.
