While three players – Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa, and Tinotenda Maposa – to made their debut against Pakistan in the ODI.
For the T20Is, Zimbabwe have retained the same squad that produced record-breaking performances during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 sub-regional qualifiers in Kenya, meanwhile, the all-rounder Sikandar Raza will continue to captain the side in the shorter format.
David Mutendera, Zimbabwe’s Convener of Selectors, expressed confidence in the squads, highlighting the importance of the series against Pakistan as an opportunity to evaluate Zimbabwe’s progress.
