The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has unveiled the schedule for the first U-19 Women’s Asia Cup, set to take place in Malaysia from December 15 to December 22.
Six teams are set to compete, with arch-rivals Pakistan and India placed together in Group A, along with Nepal, while Group B will consist of host Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
As per the announced schedule, the tournament will kick off on December 15 with the much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and India’s U-19 women’s teams, setting an exciting tone for the competition.
On December 16, Pakistan will play against Nepal to complete their group stage commitments.
Following the group matches, the top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Four stage. These matches will occur on December 19 and 20, where each qualifying team will face the leading teams from the opposite group.
The grand final, scheduled for December 22, will see the top two teams from the Super Four compete for the championship title.
