The 1,500-person capacity in the Intikhab Alam enclosure was affected due to the screen, which will now be installed higher up towards midwicket.
According to Daily Jang sources, there might be a possibility that the big screen can also be installed between Majid Khan and Zaheer Abbas enclosures, on the other hand, there is a plan to install big screens on both sides of the midwicket in the National Bank Stadium.
“We want fans to have an uninterrupted view of the matches, so adjusting the screen placement is a priority,” he stated.
Mohsin Naqvi also instructed the relevant authorities to move the parking area closer to the stadium to facilitate the general public.
The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO), responsible for the stadium’s upgrade, briefed Naqvi on the renovation progress. Adviser Aamir Mir and National Stadium Manager Arshad Khan were also present on the occasion.
Naqvi stressed the urgency of completing the upgrades on time and instructed FWO officials to accelerate the project as the Champions Trophy 2025 is just around the corner.
