Weak monsoon winds expected to bring rain to Sindh from Sunday

Sindh residents can anticipate relief from the scorching heat as weak monsoon winds are poised to make a return, bringing the promise of rains starting from tomorrow.

Meteorological experts have reported the presence of a low-intensity low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. This weather phenomenon is projected to make its way towards central India over the next two days.

With this system’s movement, there is the potential for the formation of an upper atmosphere circulation in Gujarat and the Arabian Sea. This development could pave the way for the reentry of weak monsoon winds into Sindh, impacting the region from August 20 to 22.

The upcoming rainy period is anticipated to bring relief to various areas, including Tharparkar, Mithi, Badin, and Mirpur Khas, from Sunday to Tuesday. The weather forecast indicates the likelihood of rain in these localities and their surroundings.

The impact of these monsoon winds is expected to extend further. Hyderabad, Thatta, and Nooriabad, along with their adjoining areas, are also on the list for potential rainfall during this time frame.

For Karachi, which has been facing rising temperatures and humidity, there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon. The weather outlook indicates the possibility of light rain in the city from Sunday to Tuesday.

As residents of Sindh prepare for the return of monsoon winds and the accompanying rain, this weather event brings with it the promise of cooler temperatures, relief from the heat, and a rejuvenated landscape.
