Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced strict action against individuals responsible for defacing the city’s walls with chalking.
Following his request, the Karachi Police Chief has directed the police to take immediate steps against those engaged in wall chalking.
The orders call for the arrest of individuals involved in this activity, and cases will be filed against those who post advertisements or paintings on public walls.
The police have also been tasked with identifying the culprits and ensuring that they clean the walls they have defaced.
In response to the directive, Karachi Police have begun efforts to locate and apprehend those involved in wall chalking.
