Karachi experienced a cold night with icy winds, recording a minimum temperature of 08°C and a feel-like temperature of 06°C.
The chilly spell, attributed to icy winds from Quetta, significantly lowered the feel-like temperature in the city, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The met dept predicted that the citizens might get some relief in cold weather from today, but another frosty spell is expected to begin on January 12.
The PMD has forecasted that most districts of the province will remain cold and dry.
However, the PMD predicted that the light rain with thundershowers is possible in Sukkur, Khairpur, Sanghar, and surrounding areas while, drizzle may also occur in Umerkot, Tharparkar, and Karachi.
