The Chief of Army Chief (COAS) General Asim Munir celebrated Eid with soldiers in South Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan).
According to the ISPR, General Munir offered Eid prayers with soldiers stationed on the western border. He prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and progress.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Corps Commander Peshawar.
The Army Chief greeted the soldiers and expressed his appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
General Munir praised the soldiers for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices for the country. He acknowledged their role in securing Pakistan and maintaining peace in the region.
He also appreciated the efforts of law enforcement agencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The chief told the soldiers that they are the true defenders of the nation.
The Army Chief’s visit uplifted the morale of the soldiers, who continue to serve in challenging conditions to protect the country.
