At least four people were killed and 32 others injured in a blast that rocked Turbat, the city of Balochistan, according to media reports.
The report citing police sources asserted that the five of the injured are in critical condition, while the exact nature of the explosion is still under investigation.
CCTV footage obtained by Geo News shows several vehicles on the road when a massive explosion suddenly engulfed a moving passenger bus in flames.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zohaib Mohsin, who heads the Serious Crime Wing, was also injured in the blast, while six of his family members sustained injuries as well.
Police confirmed that Mohsin and his family were passing through the area when the explosion occurred.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah condemned the attack, calling it an inhumane and despicable act.
He emphasized that targeting innocent people is a barbaric crime and reiterated that terrorists would never succeed in their malicious goals.
