After beating South Africa by 17 runs in the quarter-final, Pakistan qualified for the semi-final of the Hong Kong International Sixes tournament.
The national team set a target of 105 runs on the loss of three wickets in 6 overs with Muhammad Akhlaq scoring the highest (53) runs before retiring hurt and Hussain Talat scored 27 not out.
South Africa while chasing 106 runs only managed to score 88 runs on the loss of four wickets.
Meanwhile, the semi-finals and final of the ongoin tournament will take place tomorrow.
