After a long wait, the Sindh government on Tuesday approved the creation of two new graveyards in Karachi.
The Sindh Manzil Sukoon Authority Bill 2021 has been passed by a cabinet meeting of the provincial govt in this regard.
The provincial government has allocated lands for the establishment of two new graveyards in the city. 100 acres in Gadap and Keemari have been allocated for the task.
Last year, the Sindh government had established a new graveyard in Karachi to bury the victims of coronavirus.
