Sindh Information Minister shares Peoples Bus Service route in Karachi

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, who also holds the portfolio of the transport ministry, announced on Tuesday the launch of a new route for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi. According to ARY News, the new route, No 4, will start from Power House Chorangi and end at Tower via various stops, including Nagan chorangi, Shafiq Mor, Sohrab Goth, and City court.

This announcement comes after the Sindh government launched the second route of its electric bus service, also under the Peoples Bus Service program, on Friday. The new route, No 2, starts from Baharia Town and ends at Malir Halt via various stops, including M9 Toll Plaza, Jinnah Avenue, and Model Colony.

Sindh Minister for Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon tweeted about the government’s initiative, saying, “Sindh government under the direction of party’s leadership and CM Sindh is going to start new routes of buses for the people of Karachi. Three new routes will start in the current month of Ramadan. The public can use the new fleet of EV buses now.”

It’s worth noting that in January of this year, the government launched the first route of the electric bus service, which runs between Karachi Airport and Seaview.
