Special Assistant to CM (SACM) on Board of Investment and Private Public Partnership Projects (PPPP) Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar said on Monday that the Sindh government has initiated many projects to decongest traffic in Karachi to provide relief to the people.
Chairing a meeting of the officers of PPPP, Qamar said that ease in the flow of traffic will reduce wastage of fuel, time and improve the efficiency of the businesses in the economic hub of the country.
Director Finance Yasir Mumtaz Khokhar, who was in attendance, told the meeting that presently work is under progress on the Malir Expressway Project at the cost of Rs27.5 billion and the M9-N5 Link Road Project at the cost of Rs6.5 billion.
The remodelling of ICI Bridge, Korangi Link Road Project and Mauripur Expressway are also underway at the cost of Rs30 billion.
