Sindh govt to launch crackdown on tax evaders

The Sindh government has made the decision to initiate a crackdown on individuals and entities who have failed to meet their tax obligations by the deadline.

In a meeting led by the Additional Chief Secretary of Sindh Local Government, Najam Ahmed Shah, steps were discussed to address the issue of unpaid property taxes. It was decided that strict measures would be implemented, including the confiscation and auction of properties, to ensure compliance with the Sindh Urban Property Tax Act of 1958.
