The Sindh government has recently announced the creation of 2,000 new positions for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Investigation in the police department across the province, as reported by ARY News on Thursday. This move is aimed at strengthening the police force in Sindh and improving law and order in the region.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the recruitment of new personnel, and the Sindh Home Department has issued a letter to Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon regarding the hiring process. Around 50% of the ASI Investigation positions will be filled through the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), while the remaining vacancies will be filled by promoting officers within the department.
The positions are open to both male and female candidates and are available in various districts of Sindh. The new recruitment drive is expected to enhance the capacity of the police department and improve security in the province.
