In a significant development, MQM Pakistan has embarked on a comprehensive organizational restructuring initiative aimed at strengthening its foundations and enhancing efficiency. The decision was made during a meeting of MQM Pakistan’s Rabita Committee held today, March 6th, as confirmed by the party’s spokesperson.
Under the dynamic leadership of Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Rabita Committee unanimously agreed to initiate the restructuring process in its first phase. This decision underscores the party’s commitment to adaptability and responsiveness to evolving political dynamics.
The restructuring efforts will encompass all levels of the party hierarchy, including sectors, provincial committees, districts, zones, towns, and union councils (UCs). This holistic approach seeks to streamline operations, improve coordination, and optimize resource allocation across the organization.
In furtherance of this initiative, Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has established a Central Organizing Committee, with himself assuming the role of convener. The committee comprises esteemed members such as Syed Mushtaq Kamal, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Anis Qaimkhani, and Kaif Ul Wara, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.
The formation of the Central Organizing Committee signals a proactive stance towards driving organizational excellence and fostering unity within the party. As MQM Pakistan embarks on this transformative journey, it remains dedicated to its core principles of inclusivity, progress, and service to the nation.
