Sania Mirza receives Covid-style surprise birthday party in her Karachi stopover
A surprise birthday party mesmerized Sania Mirza, an Indian tennis icon and wife of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, at a mutual friend’s residence in Karachi.
Mirza, accompanied by her husband, the former Pakistan Test captain Malik, and their son, was invited over to TV celebrity Shahista Lodhi’s residence the other night as the nuclear family planned a brief stay in the metropolis for Pakistan Super League matches.
To her surprise, and perhaps to sweep her off of her feet, Malik and his friend Lodhi planned a little Covid-styled birthday celebration for her.

According to the details and the post-event pictures released on the social media, the event was held closed door without any crowd which would have marred the special event with critical comments by public across the border.
Separated by borders but joined by celebrities, especially ones whose real life bonds, such as that of Mirza-Malik, transcend any disparity or differences, the event photos spammed social media and were discussed indiscriminately.
